Charles zi Britannia was the main antagonist of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion series.

He is the 98th Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire who created the Sword of Akasha with Marianne vi Britannia. His Geass allowed him to suppress and alter the memories of those he achieved eye contact with, but lost the power in exchange of his brother's V.V. code which granted him immortality. Lelouch, his son, confronted his father and discovered his mother, Marianne vi Britannia, is still alive. Charles was killed when when he was erased from time with his wife.
